 Located along the Indian River in the Thousand lslands Region of New York State, Indian River Wilderness Adventures has a licensed, experienced guide to enhance your outdoor, recreational experience in the Adirondack and Thousand Island Region.  Indian River Wilderness Adventures offers day and overnight trips, year round: canoeing, day hiking, backpacking, cross-country skiing (instructional packages available), snowshoeing, and horseback riding (to include overnight trail trips). Families, groups and individuals welcome.

Trail Rider Magazine

Trail Riding

Trail riding season will begin Saturday, 24 March 2012.  We will offer trail rides on weekdays and weekends.  The basic schedule is:

     Tues- Sun (no rides on Sunday 25 Mar or Saturday 31 Mar).

      The Spring schedule is flexible as to times.  Call for reservations.

We can accomodate up to 4 riders.  Reservations required.  Special events ( i.e. an Otter Creek trailride) will pre-empt our regular schedule.  Check out our trail riding page and events calendar for more information.  

Canoe Trips   

     Canoe trips conducted on Mondays.  Reservations required.
