 Located along the Indian River in the Thousand lslands Region of New York State, Indian River Wilderness Adventures has a licensed, experienced guide to enhance your outdoor, recreational experience in the Adirondack and Thousand Island Region.  Indian River Wilderness Adventures offers day and overnight trips, year round: canoeing, day hiking, backpacking, cross-country skiing (instructional packages available), snowshoeing, and horseback riding (to include overnight trail trips). Families, groups and individuals welcome.

 Fall Events

  Now with Fall fast approaching, consider an autumn trail ride or canoe trip, to enjoy the beauty of the changing seasons.

  School has started and the children are gone for the day.  We will now offer a limited number of weekday, morning trail rides for you and your friends to get away and relax.

  Our 6 p.m. weekday trail rides continue Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  Weekend rides are also available.

  All outings require advance reservations.
